I suspect that once this is bottled that it will better harmonize as it’s somewhat awkward today
There is both energy and refinement to the overtly mineral-inflected flavors thanks to the relatively finegrained tannins shaping the refreshing finish that is wrapped around a core of bright acidity
Re-tasting the 2019 Chardonnay Freedom Hill Vineyard
powerful and brooding big-bodied flavors possess outstanding volume and mid-palate concentration where the abundant dry extract serves to buffer the very firm and imposing tannic spine on the hugely long finish
This should benefit from a few years of cellaring to develop a bit more depth
Bernard Burgaud, Cote Rotie other_regions_italy I suspect that once thisAgreeably fresh and spicy, with an aerial touch to the aromatics and a hint of cumin. Young at heart still, there are raspberry notes, a sappy fruitiness to the acidity and the tannins are very fine. Its neat and precise and drinking well now, theres no major hurry to drink up, but I'm not sure whether this will ever take on any great complexity.
